Fence installation in Amarillo, TX
All-State Fence & Supply has been family-owned since 1979, and the Panhandle crews work out of the Amarillo & Canyon Fence Supply Center on I-27, about five miles south of the Amarillo loop. The crews are ours — not subcontracted — licensed, insured and background-checked, and the company holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
New fence starts with a free on-site estimate. Someone comes out, measures the run, looks at how the ground slopes and what the soil is doing, counts the gates, and prices the job before anything is scheduled. There is no obligation and no deposit to get a number. If you are comparing us against another quote, ask both companies what picket thickness and what post they are quoting — that is almost always where a cheaper number comes from, and it is the part you cannot see once the fence is up.
What we build in Amarillo and Canyon: cedar privacy fence in dog-ear, gothic point, cap-top and board-on-board; ornamental iron; chain link in residential and commercial gauges; pipe and ranch fence; and vinyl. Every wood fence goes up on Schedule 40 steel posts set three feet deep in concrete, using Western Red Cedar from the same bundles we sell over the counter, and we finish in Wood Defender stain if you want it stained.
We work across the Panhandle and into eastern New Mexico — Hereford, Dumas, Borger, Pampa, Dalhart, Tulia and the towns in between, out to Portales and Clovis. If you are not sure whether you are inside the service area, call the Fence Supply Center and ask.

Fence repair in Amarillo
Most of the repair calls we take in the Panhandle trace back to wind. A line post leans because it was set too shallow, a rail lets go, pickets work loose, or a gate starts dragging and then gets forced until something breaks. We repair and rebuild fence across Amarillo and Canyon, including fence we did not build, and we re-post, re-hang and re-picket rather than selling a whole new fence when the run is sound.
Small repairs that do not need a new post are often done the same day or within a day or two. If a post has to be reset, the job waits two days for the underground utility locate.
Driveway gates and gate repair in Amarillo
A gate is the part of a fence that moves every day, so it is the part that fails first when it is built like the rest of the fence. Every All-State gate is built to your opening in our own shop — cedar double drive gates on welded steel frames spanning up to 14 feet, ornamental iron slide gates wider still for sloped drives and openings where a swinging leaf would take the full force of a Panhandle wind.
We are a LiftMaster Professional partner. We install operators and access control, we repair every make and model, and we fix gates that sag, drag or will not latch — including gates we did not build.
Buy fence materials near Amarillo
The Amarillo & Canyon Fence Supply Center is a full store as well as a fence company, open to the public with no minimum order. It is stocked deeper on Western Red Cedar than any other All-State Fence Supply Center, and it is the only one that keeps cedar split-rail on hand — the other Centers can order it; in Canyon you can see it and load it the same day.
Contractors, schools and government buyers get discounted pricing, with deeper discounts by volume. Delivery starts at $75 and covers about 100 miles, including Amarillo, Hereford, Tulia, Vega and Borger.

Cedar fence styles we build
Every style below is built from the same Western Red Cedar we sell over the counter, finished in Wood Defender stain. Full-size sections are on display at the Fence Supply Center.
Built for Panhandle wind
Every steel post we use has the same 2⅜-inch outside diameter, so they look alike in the rack. What separates them is wall thickness, and we build with Schedule 40 — set three feet deep in concrete. In Panhandle wind that is the difference between a fence that stands and one that leans.
The cedar matters too. We build with Western Red Cedar cut from Canadian logs from the West Coast and milled in Washington — not the imported Cryptomeria sold as “Japanese cedar” at roughly half the price. Japanese Cedar vs. Real Western Red Cedar.
Commercial and oilfield fence in the Panhandle
All-State builds heavy security fencing for energy, industrial and municipal sites across the Texas Panhandle and eastern New Mexico: chain link in 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 foot heights, with three strands of barbed wire or razor ribbon on top, custom welded double swing gates and cantilever roll gates, and vinyl-coated and galvanized fabric.
We are prequalified on ISNetworld, Veriforce, PEC Safety and ISN RAVS Plus — the vendor screens most operators require before a contractor can set foot on a site. Crews carry the required PPE, run heavy-duty CAT skid loaders that dig through caliche and rock, and the company carries workers’ compensation, general liability and umbrella insurance.
We also fence schools, baseball fields, tennis court enclosures and municipal sites, including walk gates with panic bars and spring-loaded hinges for egress.
For a commercial or oilfield bid, call (806) 655-5700.

Questions
Where is the Amarillo Fence Supply Center?
The Amarillo & Canyon Fence Supply Center is at 16500 I-27 in Canyon, about five miles south of the Amarillo loop, open Monday to Friday 7:30 to 5:30. It serves Amarillo, Canyon and the surrounding Panhandle towns.
How much does a fence cost in Amarillo?
We price every fence after someone looks at the site, because the number moves with length, height, style, how the ground slopes, whether an old fence has to come out, and how many gates you need. The estimate is free and there is no obligation. If you want to compare quotes fairly, check that both are quoting the same picket thickness and the same post — that is usually where a cheaper number comes from.
Do you repair fences you did not build?
Yes. We re-post, re-hang and rebuild fence and gates across Amarillo and Canyon no matter who built them.
Do you sell fence materials to the public in Amarillo?
Yes. The Amarillo & Canyon Fence Supply Center sells to homeowners, contractors and ranchers with no minimum order, Monday to Friday 7:30 to 5:30. Delivery starts at $75 and covers about 100 miles, including Amarillo, Hereford, Tulia, Vega and Borger.
Do you install automatic driveway gates in Amarillo?
Yes. All-State is a LiftMaster Professional partner. We add operators to new gates and to existing gates that are sound and move freely, and we diagnose and repair operators of every make and model.
What kind of cedar do you use?
Western Red Cedar, cut from Canadian logs from the West Coast and milled in Washington — the same pickets we sell at the counter. It is not the imported Cryptomeria sold as “Japanese cedar” at roughly half the price. We wrote out the difference here: Japanese Cedar vs. Real Western Red Cedar.
How deep do you set fence posts?
Three feet, in concrete, on Schedule 40 steel posts. In Panhandle wind that is the difference between a fence that stands and one that leans.
